The day itself.

By the time the day comes around, the platform is mostly done. What's left is mostly people.

The reminder goes out for you.

The platform sends an automatic reminder email to every confirmed RSVP 24 hours before kick-off. You don't need to do this yourself.

If you want to add anything specific (parking, a code word, what to bring), edit the event description before the reminder fires. The description is included in the reminder.

Plus-ones are part of the invite, not a footnote.

If your event allows them, the RSVP form lets people add a plus-one inline. Their name goes on the list, no separate flow, no follow-up email chain. If you've capped attendance, plus-ones count against the capacity.

No-shows are normal.

Confirmed RSVPs do not equal confirmed attendees. About a fifth of confirmed RSVPs don't turn up to a free, friendly event. If you're catering, plan for that, not for the RSVP count.

Sending a reminder closer to the event helps. The platform's built-in reminder is enough for most cases.

Mark people as arrived if you want.

On the management page there's a check-in column. Tap it as people arrive. Useful for a phone-bank or a workshop where attendance matters. Useless for a barbecue. No expectation either way.

Late RSVPs don't break anything.

RSVPs that come in during the event still go on the list. People sometimes commit to coming once they're already in the car. Don't close the page early.

If you want the list on your phone for door-checking, export the CSV before you leave home and you're sorted.
